About Me

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Great Bay University, a research-oriented university formally established in 2025，in China. I received my Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Fudan University in June 2025. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from Fudan University in June 2021. My doctoral research was supervised first by the late Prof. Yi Jiang, and later by Prof. Xin Wang, focusing on sequence design and signal processing for communications.

Research Interests

My research lies at the intersection of algebra, combinatorics, and signal processing, with a special focus on sequences with good correlations and their applications. My main interests include:

  • Golay complementary sequences: Existence, constructions, and applications.
  • Hadamard matrices: Constructions and existence.
  • Low-correlation sequences: Bounds and constructions.
  • Applications in wireless communications: Beamforming and waveform design for large-scale MIMO communications.

Selected Contributions

  • New constructions of Golay complementary sequence (array) sets to improve their existence, i.e., to discover some new sizes.
  • Improved results on the existence of Hadamard matrices, refining classical asymptotic bounds (building upon R. Craigen’s pioneering work).
  • Construction of Generalized Step-Chirp (GSC) Sequences, generalizing chirp-like sequences with all-pass spectra to those with band-pass spectra, thus achieving flexible tradeoffs between the beamforming gain and the beam sweeping time in massive MIMO communications.

Current Opportunities
